In the thrilling third person game Narqubis, players explore a mysterious planet in search of energy sources and minerals, believing Earth is running out of these precious resources. As you venture into this rich world, you uncover staburonium, which is quickly identified by scientists as an excellent energy source. You return to Earth, but soon after, the Manuka, the native inhabitants of the Narqubis planet, discover that outsiders are taking their minerals. Angered, they launch a counterattack to defend their homeland. Now, a fierce battle rages between humans and Manuka, and it’s up to you to choose which side you will fight for in one of the most exciting multiplayer games to play with friends.

We’re excited to welcome you to the Narqubis competition! Below is the updated and enhanced set of rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable competition for all participants.

Competition Format

  1. Game Mode: Team Deathmatch.
  2. Team Composition:
    • Each team consists of 3 players and 1 reserve.
    • Reserves can substitute active players between matches but not during an ongoing match.
  3. Stages:
    • Group Stage: Teams play 1 match against each opponent in their group.
    • Elimination Stage: The top 8 teams advance from the group stage to compete in a knockout format.
  4. Match Details:
    • The organizer will determine the maps for each match.
    • Matches consist of 2 maps. If teams tie after 2 maps, a random tiebreaker map will be selected.
    • The winner is the team with the highest number of kills during the match.

Scoring System

  • Win: 3 points
  • Draw: 1 point
  • Loss: 0 points

In the event of a tie in group stage points:

  • Teams will play a face-off match to determine the tiebreaker.

The tiebreaker map will be randomly selected.

Match Scheduling and Reporting

  1. Scheduling:
    • Teams must be present and ready to play at their scheduled match time.
    • A 10-minute grace period will be allowed; failure to show up will result in forfeiture unless prior arrangements have been made with the organizers.
  1. Result Submission:
    • Both teams must screen-capture the match results and submit them to the moderator immediately after the match.
    • Failure to provide screenshots may result in the match being invalidated.
  2. Pre-Match Check:
    • Teams are responsible for ensuring their setups (hardware, internet, in-game settings) are working before the match begins. No pauses or restarts will be granted for setup issues once the match starts.

Prize Distribution

  • Google Play Gift Card: Prizes will be distributed within 7 working days after the competition concludes.
  • Verified Players Only: Prizes will be awarded only to players who have completed the verification process.

Gameplay Rules

  1. Disconnected Players:
    • If a player disconnects within the first minute, the match will be restarted.
    • If the disconnection occurs after 1 minute, the team can continue with 1 player down or forfeit the match.
  2. Gameplay Integrity:
    • Players must use only the officially supported game version.
    • Players are required to avoid exploiting any unintended game mechanics.

Code of Conduct

Respect and fair play are essential to the competition. Any form of toxic or harmful behavior will result in immediate and permanent bans from the game. This includes but is not limited to:

  1. Offensive Language:
    • Abusive, discriminatory, or obscene language.
    • Slurs targeting race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
  2. Harassment:
    • Bullying, threatening, or stalking other players.
    • Intimidation through repeated unsportsmanlike behavior.
  3. Cheating:
    • Use of cheats, hacks, or any third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage.
    • Exploiting in-game bugs or glitches intentionally.
  4. Unsportsmanlike Behavior:
    • Sabotaging teammates or opponents.
    • Throwing games or not participating in good faith.
  5. Disruption:
    • Excessive spamming in chat or voice channels.
    • Intentionally interfering with gameplay to hinder others.
  6. Trolling:
    • Deliberately undermining game objectives or creating distractions.

Spectator Rules

  • Unauthorized spectators or third-party tools are not allowed.
  • Official observers may be authorized by the organizers for moderation purposes.

Moderator Decisions

  • All decisions made by moderators regarding disputes, technical issues, or rule clarifications during the competition are final.
  • Appeals may be submitted in writing after the competition for future consideration.

Content Usage

  • By participating, players agree to allow the use of match recordings, screenshots, or gameplay clips for promotional or analytical purposes by the organizers.
